The Ponies will push Texas A&M in the opener, and navigate the season, with the game against Houston likely for the West Division title. Watch out for Southern Methodist in 2012 as a possible BCS-buster.
Upset Alert: Southern Methodist over TCU
Southern Methodist was the closest of any team TCU played (until the Rose Bowl) to upsetting the Horned Frogs, and an early season meeting in which the Ponies return far more than the Frogs could provide upset material, before TCU even begins its last season in the Mountain West.
